Pacquiao assures fans 3rd fight vs Marquez will be different

Manny Pacquiao vowed that his third fight against Juan Manuel Marquez will be very different than their previous bouts. He told ESPN’s Sports Center the main difference will come from his improvement as a fighter. I have had a lot of changes. I’m stronger now compared to years ago,” said Pacquiao. I learned more techniques and strategy for my style, and I’ve improved my right hand, he added. Pacquiao and Marquez figured in 2 closely fought matches in 2004 and 2008. In 2004, the Filipino boxer decked Marquez 3 times in round 1. The Mexican, however, rallied in the following rounds to escape with a draw. In their 2008 rematch, Pacquiao hammered a split decision against the Mexican by scoring a knockdown in the 3rd round. The Filipino boxer said he will post a more convincing win this time now that he’s fighting in a higher weight division. I’m very comfortable moving up to the higher division, said Pacquiao. Fight fans should watch out for the first big punch in the Manny Pacquiao vs Juan Manuel Marquez fight because it will be one of the most important punches of the bout.

The six-time world champion in five different divisions, Flod Mayweather Jr, and is focused to return to the ring and face, he said, one of the greatest challenges in his successful career. And is that ‘Pretty Boy’, the best pound for pound boxer of the moment and one of the best in history, after announcing earlier this month his return to the ring through its Twitter collide next September 17 with the WBC welterweight young monarch, the Mexican American Victor "Vicious" Ortiz, seeking to wrest the belt in the headliner of the evening has been titled ‘Star Power: Ortiz vs Mayweather‘and will be broadcast on HBO PPV. Ortiz is a young champion, fast and very strong, so it will not be easy, but I’m going to prepare with the same dedication that I have always had for my fights and show the fans around the world that I am the best boxer today. Ortiz will take Mayweather to war

Mayweather vs Ortiz will face each other on September 17, 2011 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas. WBC welterweight champion Victor Ortiz (29-2-2, 22 KO’s) has already come up with a strategy to try and beat undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. (41-0, 25 Ko’s) in their fight on September 17th at a still to be determined venue. Ortiz, 24, says he’s going to take the fight to Mayweather and try to turn it into a war. This no doubt has been attempted before, albeit with weaker and smaller fighters than Ortiz. Juan Manuel Marquez and Ricky Hatton both attempted to take the fight to Mayweather and were easily beaten. The southpaw Ortiz is bigger and stronger than those guys, so perhaps he can take Mayweather’s hard pot shots and keep firing back to get inside on Mayweather. In an interview at the The Ring, Ortiz said “I’ll take him the same way I thought Oscar De La Hoya beat him, the way Jose Luis Castillo beat him, that’s take the war to his ass.” This would be more or less the same tactic that Ortiz used on beating former WBC welterweight champion Andre Berto by a 12 round decision in his last fight in April. Ortiz went right at Berto and forced him to fight a long and protracted inside ward where Ortiz was eventually able to beat Berto, but not before being knocked down twice. To Ortiz’s credit, he was able to get up off the deck on two occasions and put Berto down twice as well, and eventually wear him down. If you are all excited to Watch Mayweather vs Ortiz then stay tuned on this blog for more updates.

Why You Should Watch Mayweather Ortiz

After Mayweathers own 16 month layoff he faces a young strong southpaw. Many believe this is another opponent he cherry picked like the ones I have mentioned but I for one believe this is the best fighter he has ever faced. Not the biggest name but by far the best quality opponent. Not only is Ortiz young, strong, hungry, and physically bigger then Mayweather, he is a southpaw. People say Ortiz has no chance because you must have a jab to beat Mayweather. This is false and here is why. In order to beat Mayweather you must have a good left hand. As an orthodox you must have a good left jab, as a southpaw you must have a good straight left. It is Mayweathers shoulder roll style that exposes his face for a left hand. If Ortiz tries to beat Mayweather with his jab he is going to hit shoulder all day. With Ortiz’s style Mayweather is going to need his track shoes. Unluckily for Mayweather he is no longer young and since his first layoff he has become a flat footed fighter. Being flat footed is going to be extremely dangerous in fighting Ortiz. For all you boxing fans we know that Mayweather might not get hit too much but when he does he gets stunned and his opponents allow him to survive. Ortiz is not going to let him off the hook and he hits a lot harder than anybody Mayweather has faced. I bet this is really thrilling and we all can’t wait to watch Mayweather knock out Ortiz in this boxing event called Star Power: Mayweather vs Ortiz! See you all in September 17, 20110 and Watch Mayweather vs Ortiz fight Live! A free live stream will be available here on the event day. That’s for sure!

Mayweather Started His Sparring Sessions

At the start of his training this month the controversial Floyd Mayweather Jr. began his intensive training face to face some of his sparring partners. His uncle-trainer, Roger Mayweather, proud to say that he beaten and bruised one his spartmate in the hands of Mayweather. His sparring partner was Kasiim Ouam a veteran, and a former champion 154 pounds. Floyd has been a professional for nearly 15 years and has been in bigger fights than the Ortiz duel. Roger confirmed that Floyd had been working with four other partners. I asked him if Lil’ Floyd has been putting a beating on them. Asked if the preparation for the dangerous southpaw has seen them do anything special, Roger played such thoughts down. In September 17, Mayweather vs Ortiz will foght for the WBC welterweight championship will be held at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada. According to the trainer, nothing changes in the training allegedly Floyd Jr. because I knew it would. The Ortiz vs Mayweather fight, dubbed as Star Power will be televised via HBO pay-per-view.

Mayweather vs Ortiz Fight

Undefeated Floyd Mayweather, Jr. (40-0-0) is scheduled to fight newly crowned World Boxing Council Welterweight champion Victor Ortiz (29-2-2) on September 17, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The Mayweather vs Ortiz fight, dubbed as Star Power will be televised via HBO pay-per-view. Floyd Mayweather Jr with his slick boxing skills controlling his opponents every move as if he was a puppet master but Floyd dont need no strings instead he makes his opponents confused and takes their confidence away from them making them very cautious, this works very well against many top fighters as they are so used to being dominant they forget what it’s like to after fight out of their skin to win fights, but will this work with Victor Ortiz he makes a career out of fighting out of his skin its what’s won him the WBC Welterweight strap in his most recent fight against the also undefeated Andre Berto let’s take a look at why Victor Ortiz is a well suited fighter to take Floyd to the depths for a win. It only shows that Victor Ortiz will not go down without a fight and if ever he will crushed Floyd Mayweather and win this fight. As we all know that Victor Ortiz must fight beyond the level of Floyd Mayweather Jr. to win the Floyd Mayweather vs Victor Ortiz match.
